Q: How similar are the walgreens drugtests and the court drugtest?
I just passed a walgreens drug test does that mean i will pass the court's?
A: court drug tests are usually 5 panel tests that check for various types of drugs from pills that contain opiates weed alcohol heroin etc. so what type did you buy was it just for the type of drug that you use ? if so and you passed then you should be fine but just in case drink plenty of water before you take your test and try to catch your urine in mid stream not at the very beginning or the very end.
Q: Anyone know how to change a Walgreens Ear thermometer reading from C to F?
I have a Walgreens Instant Ear Thermometer that reads in Celsius. I need to know how to change it to fahrenheit?Anyone?

And I don't have the manual, can't find it online either.
I can convert C to F online, but it's a hassle when the sick child in question is crying/screaming/barfing etc.

To clarify: I need to know how to get the thermometer itself to display in degrees fahrenheit.
A: Am not familiar with the model but there might be a switch on the side/ back/ bottom of the thermometer to change the reading from centigrade to farenheight.
If there is none, perhaps pressing the on/off button will switch the reading from centigrade/ celsius to farenheight.
Q: How much is a cashier paid at CVS and Walgreens in New York City?
I just got hired at a Duane Reade in Manhattan, New York city as a cashier. I also applied to CVS and Walgreens in recent times. I want to know the starting hourly wage CVS and Walgreens pays it cashiers so that if I receive an offer from either I will be in a better position to choose between Duane Reade and the others.
A: NYC Walgreens start their entry level employees almost a dollar more than minimum wage at $8/hr or more, and a raise or promotion usually comes swiftly, especially since we're expanding in this market. Walgreens is also the best company by far when compared to its drug store competitors, especially Duane Reade.
I don't know about CVS, but I have a feeling their hourly rates are not as standardized, as I once heard of a photo tech making $14/hr. I highly doubt such a pay rate is typical for a CVS employee, especially entry level.

I am trying to access my schedule from home. I need to get onto walgreens storenet from home. I am pretty sure I saw on here a few months back, there is a way from home, internet site to access storenet.

A: right now at walgreens they have a thing going if you want to make prints its .19 cents a print for 50 or more other wise it is .29 cents a print. now if you just want to make a cd from your prints it is 2.99
Q: How can I return my straightening iron to walgreens (package already opened)?
I bought a straightening iron at Walgreens and I used it and it doesn't work on my hair at all. I totally opened the whole container and it's not like I can return it. Is there a way I can tell them it doesn't work, get my refund, and they return it to the conair manufacturing company? Thank
A: If you have your receipt there should be no problem (depending on how long ago it was bought). The Clerks can't help you but a Manager can. If you have the packaging that's great but even if you don't, worry not. The company can return the item on your behalf whether you choose to get a refund or replacement. If this item is months old though or without a receipt showing they were the seller, you may wish to deal with Conair directly.

Q: Is Walgreens a good place to work as a pharmacist?
I just received an offer to work for Walgreens in NJ, i was curious to know if anybody has any thoughts. CVS has also offered but Walgreens is my first choice. I want to make sure i am making the right choice.
A: Walgreens probably have one of the best computer systems among the chains. Saying this however, their management from the top to the bottom is too rigid. You are going to have to call your superiors Mister and Miss esp for management. This system sucks esp considering the fact they don;t have to call you by this system. They can call you whatever you want. Although the right way would be Mister.Miss too or perhaps Doctor. It is not a good system and many people I know decide to not work for them because of this.
Q: Does anyone know if Walgreens sells planting seeds?
I am starting to plant flowers and edibles vegetation in my backard, and i live within walking distance of Walgreens, but i don't know if they sell seeds to plant. Would anyone know?
A: yeah check out the seasonal aisle in the middle of the store...but go early because by late June/July all the good stuff starts to run out with all the sales and warmer weather...
p.s. check your local ad!! sometimes they have seeds for 39 cents each with in store coupon!!
Q: Is advance care lotion from walgreens good to use on my tattoo?
I know that most ppl use Lubidem for tattoos but I dont have the money right now to buy luburdem and i was wonddering if using the 99 cent bottle of Advanced care lotion for walgreens is good on my tattoo and when should i start using it? should i start to use it when my tattoo starts to scab?
A: Basically, if it is unscented, it is perfectly fine to use. If it stings, your tattoo is not yet ready for any lotion. Scabbing is not a normal occurrence with tattooing. It happens when the tattoo is not cared for properly in the first few hours or if it is overworked. In some cases, no matter what you do, it can scab a bit if it is in a location that gets a lot of motion.
Typically tattoos should only peel off the outer later of skin that has been damaged like a sunburn peels. The difference is that there is ink in that skin so it looks like color is coming off.
Q: I want to be a pharmacist & would like to start working as a pharmacy technician. Is Target or Walgreens best?
Also, which one offers more financial help? If so, please post the link so I can compare each of them. I do realize Walgreens has the better reputation but I would like to get in depth to make the correct decision. Thanks a million!
A: It's not difficult to become a pharmacy tech, and it's wonderful experience for you if you'd like to become a pharmacist. It will give you an insight into your future job (to see if you like it) and also give you experience to use when you're applying to pharmacy school.
I'm not sure about financial aid, but my cousin is a pharmacy manager at Walgreens. She HATES it. I know she is still up to her eyeballs in loans more than 10 years after she got out of school, so I'm guessing they have not helped her reimburse her loans.
She actually really wants to work for Target, so my guess would be that if an experienced pharmacist sees Target as an improvement, it's a good place to go.

A: in my area MGT's start at 15.35 an hour with 44 hours a week so thats about 36,700 a year. They hire all majors. Relocation costs are paid for if they ask you to move for them.
Warning you will be doing all the kind of work you never wanted to do after college.
Q: Does working at a photo center at Walgreens affect the baby during pregnancy?
Ok. So I'm about 2 1/2 months pregnant. And I just got a new job at Walgreens, full time, in the Photo Center. Does anyone know if theres any harsh chemicals that I'll be working with or around, that could affect my pregnancy negatively in anyway? A: there are chemicals involved but you dont always have to do it, theres just certain things that someone else could do because its not any everyday thing or anything. but at the walgreens i work at we just had 2 girls that were working in photo and they both were pregnant and neither of them had any problems at all. people are really understanding and they dont want you to get hurt, like if you carry anything heavy, so people will definetly help you with just about anything too.

A: This will depend on experience in cash handling, customer service, and photo lab experience. Generally, if you have experience, you could probably get around $8.00, but that is subject to the manager, location, and other factors.
