Q: Updating the exterior of a 5 level split home?

A: First of all -- You will need a front entrance something similiar to an overhang to announce the front door.
Break up the front with some type of stone work on the bottom portion.
What I'm trying to say is that you will need some great curb appeal.
Backyard -- Big tri-deck across the back of the house would be super -- after breaking up the siding with some type of stone work .
Q: How do i do the full spilt (dance/gymnastics)?
i am quite close to doing the forward split however i am really struggling with the final 15cm (ish) are there different exercises i can do to achieve the full split? please help if possible its annoying me not being able to fully do it, i know its practice makes perfect though so i just keep practicing!!

A: after you take a hot shower or bath (your muscles are relaxed annd will stretch farther) go stretch. go as far as you can, and hold it for 1 min. then take a 1 min break, then hold for another minute.you should be able to go down further than before. just do this every day. good luck!
Q: How do you become flexible to do the SPLITS?
I'm not flexible at all, I used to be able to do it. But that was like 12 years ago..how do you start out and what stretches or w/e do I need to do?

A: Don't just go and force your body into the splits, you could pull a muscle or tear something. You need to have your muscles warmed up so wear layers and do a light jog or really any light activity for 10 minutes. Once you feel a light sweat coming on then stretch (especially your legs). Stretch your calves, hamstrings, quads, even hips. You can look up a bunch of stretches on youtube. It depends on your body..i got reallllly close to my forward splits after only a week lol, I was very determined, that was like last year. For me, I have my forward splits but not my center splits (those are much harder for me). I try to stretch everyday..even if it's not for the splits you just feel much better and less tight :)

I need help locating which muscles I need to improve the flexibility of.
Splits-
Using various pieces of furniture I've managed to set myself up in a position where I am basically in the splits position but my front leg is bent at the knee (hanging off the end of the chair). In this position I can get fully down. However, when I straighten my front leg I can't get as low down (infact it pushed me inches up). I'd like to know what muscle is it that is too short and is preventing me from straightening my front leg and thus preventing me from doing the splits.
Heel Stretch - I assume that once I get my splits I'll be able to get a higher heel stretch? At the moment I'm at about a 2 oclock position.
Arabesque- I recently found out I have tight quads so I'm stretching them out. Are there any other muscles to focus on? I've been told I have a very good bridge so I don't think back flexibility is the problem.

In response to Jaliyah W's reply a heel stretch is a move often used in pom dance and cheerleading. I did pronounce it properly Heel [of one's foot] Stretch. I asked for advice not for you to spend 80% of the reply telling me about your amazing talents and flexibility [i'm not saying its not amazing, i'm just saying i didn't ask]. I don't do ballet at all, arabesque is also a position in cheerleading stunts.
A: you definitely need to stretch out hamstrings--put ur leg up against a wall and hold it there after about ten seconds move ur foot higher-- this gets u more stretched out ane ur heelstretch will be higher and ur splits will get flatter
for splits what i usually do is get into a strattle sit and push against the was and get as close as u can to the walland hold it for a while-- this will stretch ur inner thighs and help ur splits get flatter
after ur done practicing and stretching make sure u do a light stretch so ur muscles dont get sore
** take deep breaths while u are stretching and u will stretch farther
Q: What happens if someone with a split personality commits a crime?
Pretty straight forward... see above.
A: Well a judge would have to rule out in the court of law that the person was insane. But the chances of this happening depends on the person's economical status. This is sad but true. If the person comes from a poor background usually they cant afford to receive the right treatment and oftentimes do not even know they are mentally ill.
Q: Are you dreading going back to school this year, or looking forward to it?
Last year I would have done anything to avoid going back to school, however this year I am so excited to finally return. I used to hate school until my parents split up and things started to suck at home, then I started to rely on school as a place to get away from the chaos. Ever since that I have grown to love school. It's funny how life works like that. Do you like school? Why or why not?
A: I just want to get my last year over with so Im looking forward to it.
Q: How do i do this kind of handstand?
Where you have your palms on the ground infront of you, and your legs are spread left to right as if you were going to do the forward splits. then you raise yourself slowly into a handstand.
What stretches/workouts do i need to do to gain this muscle? i'm flexible, so that's not a problem, not that that really has anything to do with it.
A: Try doing yoga, there are moves that will teach you how to do this

Q: How can I split a large one hour mp3 file into 5 smaller ones? its an audio book that I listen to on my mp3?
its a really cheap mp3 player so when i shut it off it starts from the beginning and doesn't scan forward quickly and doesn't have a display to tell me how far it has scanned. I usually just end up listening to the entire one hour section all over again from the computer or listen to it on my computer with media player

What is a handspring
What is a handspring?
A: Start with learning on a trampoline. Also you could start by learning front and back handsprings. Its all about courage and guts just do it!!
Q: When did the current home style become popular?
The style involves a split floorplan, forward garage, gas fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and sometimes hardwood flooring.
A: The transition from the "Monopoly Houses" that were the rage in the Post WWII 50's and 60's continued into the 70's, but at the same time, versions of what we see today were being constructed starting in the early 1970's in some suburban areas. By the mid 1980's the style was the predominant style being built.
There are always alternate styles, with the Frank Lloyd Wright Prairie Style still being built in a small fraction of homes, and the styles of the 1920's, are also coming into vogue in some developments where covenants required that all houses built in those neighborhoods maintain that style.
If you have Parade of Homes in your area, you can page through the book, and immediately pick out these two styles because they look so unique alongside of the construction style being used for 90% of the houses. Both of the unique styles mentioned here are fun to see. The Prairie Style Houses are usually $1MM+ although there is nothing that says they need to be that big. The construction in the Wright style though creates rather high $/sq ft cost due to it's use of expensive building materials including a lot of wood.
Q: Splits pain under the knee and through to the thighs and biceps?
The Splits: Forward and Horizontal- If I feel pain in the joints, ie. knees (like muscles are being pulled quite hard) and less pain, ( but still pain) from the thighs to the biceps, is that dangerous, or is it part of getting my splits back :D? (I used to be able to do the splits, but now I can only do it with pain!)
A: Warm up first and stretch out before attempting the splits. A Nordic Track is a good warmup.
Q: What do you think about Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movie being split into two?
I perosnally don't think it's a good idea to cut the movie in half. yeah, well have more movies to look forward too, and yeah more detail will be added but i think itll take away from the idea of the series
A: i think its a good idea. more harry potter to look forward to! i figure, once the 7th movie is out, that's it, that's the whole story, nothing else new to look forward to with Harry Potter. so drag it out!!!
plus, there was sooo much important scenes in the 7th book, i don't think there is much to cut out. i imagine they didnt want to remove important material, just to make it one movie. How disappointed would all the harry potter fans be if they skipped scenes and cut stuff, just to make it one movie? so much happens, i'd rather have it in two quality movies than one okay one. and, they are coming out about 6 months from one another. i read on wikipedia that the first part is November 2010, and the second is May 2011. So they'll be about 6 months apart, which isnt too bad at all.
a friend of mine told me they almost made goblet of fire into two movies, so they didnt have to cut much. i think that would have taken away from the idea of the series more than splitting up the 7th movie. but i dunno how accurate that is, i'm just repeating what i heard.
Q: Do tounge piercings really grow out and give you a snake tounge?
I want a tounge piercing but have heard that they can grow forward and split you tounge in half, is that true? Can this ever happen?
A: That sounds like the crap my mother tried telling me. I've had mine pierced for almost 7 years, and the hole is still the same size. You can stretch it by slowly upping the bar size, but it's not gonna happen on accident. I would think about it first though, because you can chip teeth on them. I have.
